BOBS from Skechers Announces Partnership with Doug the Pug
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, BOBS from Skechers has delighted animal lovers with the news of a partnership with the adorable internet sensation Doug the Pug aka @itsdougthepug.
Doug — who won E’s People Choice Award for the top Animal Star in 2019 and 2020–boasts more than 18 million followers on social media and his images have amassed more than 1 billion views. He even won the heart of the famous singer Katy Perry who featured him in the music video for her song “Swish Swish.”
This is the second time that the Skechers shoe brand partnered with Doug by placing his image on shoes and then donating a portion of sales proceeds to animals waiting adoption in shelters. This latest series of sneakers features two designs, both blue in tone, and both featuring Doug in his trademark shades and attire. The new Doug the Pug x BOBS from Skechers styles retail for $50–55 and are available for purchase at Skechers.com.
