Millennials are a generation known for their quirks and passionate opinions, and a recent study from Visit Anaheim suggests that they are also the generation that wants to spend the most time with their grandparents. Specifically, it’s more common than ever for Millennials to want to go on vacation with Grandma and Grandpa!

Multigenerational holidays have been on the rise over the past few years, and according to the survey which polled a sample of 1,000 Americans, those aged 25–34 were the most likely (83%) to report enjoying multigenerational travel experiences. Although this enthusiasm seems surprising, Millennials are known for being close to their parents and now that many Millennials are embracing parenthood, having their active Baby Boomer grandparents in the picture is very desirable.

With spring vacation around the corner and summer vacation planning in the works, Visit Anaheim is kicking off their first-ever Grandtravel contest. One lucky family of six will win an Anaheim vacation, including accommodations at Great Wolf Lodge and tickets to Knott’s Berry Farm — perfect for a family of four, plus two grandparents. Contest ends Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Enter to win here.
