“Zoo Guardians” is a popular app game for children that, as of March 4, features an all-new Oceans and Coast overhaul that brings the aquatic world to players virtually! If you already have the app installed, simply click “Update” in the Apple Store and you will instantly have access to new animals. Zoo Guardians offers educational entertainment for children ages 5–10 and this new update makes the game even more interesting. The new Oceans & Coast update includes:

· New Biome — Oceans & Coasts

· New Animals — 7 semi-aquatic animals and 2 Salamanders

· Swimming Animals — All animals from Oceans & Coasts and certain animals from Polar and Wetlands biomes can swim in deep water

“Zoo Guardians” let’s children and their families learn about 67 different species which are virtually bought to life in this augmented reality mobile world created by JumpStart® Games in partnership with the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute. Players can build their own zoos, care for animals, complete quests, and interact with realistic 3-D representations of wildlife. As players expand their zoos and the offerings in them, they learn from Smithsonian animal experts and conservation scientists about ways to help animals thrive both under human care and in their native habitats.

“Zoo Guardians” is FREE and available to download in the App Store and on Google Play.
